In this FREE online workshop, I will give an overview of the current literature of the impact of nature and the environment on our health and wellbeing, before introducing attendees to a simple writing exercise for wellbeing, using nature as a stimulus.

In this workshop, Writing for Wellbeing & Personal Facilitator, Dr Roshni Beeharry (www.storiedselves.com), will take you on a virtual ‘Nature trail’ to give you an opportunity to engage with aspects of our landscapes through using our senses and by writing. Each ‘stop’ on the trail will represent an aspect of the landscape and be represented by images and other media. You will be invited to write in response to related prompts at each ‘stop’, with opportunities to share your writing.You are encouraged to bring one object from the natural world e.g. from your garden/park/woods to use as a stimulus for a writing exercise.

Writing Ability: Suitable for all  writing abilities.

What to bring: Notepad and pen/pencil and something from Nature: a stone, flower, leaf, plant pot etc. Jacket and comfortable shoes in case we step outside.
